Meet Dr. Caire

Dr. Michael Caire

A native of Vacherie, Louisiana, Dr. Michael Caire attended E. D. White high school, graduated with honors from LSU in 2016 and went on to earn his medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center – Shreveport in 2020, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society recognizing academic excellence, professionalism, and service.

Dr. Caire completed his residency training in emergency medicine at Orlando Regional Medical Center, a Level 1 trauma center known for its high-acuity patient care and advanced training in cutting edge medical treatment, including ultrasound-guided procedures—skills that directly enhance the precision and effectiveness of modern vein treatments.

After training, Dr. Caire returned home to Louisiana, where he spent some time practicing as a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician. While he values the intensity of emergency care, he was drawn to his role at Gitter Vein Institute by the opportunity to form longer-lasting relationships with patients and to help guide them through treatment plans that improve their health and quality of life over time. Dr. Caire is known for his calm, reassuring bedside manner and his focus on personalized, patient-centered care.

Outside of medicine, he is a licensed pilot who enjoys traveling, scuba diving, playing guitar and piano, golfing, cheering on LSU sports, exploring wine, and spending time with his wife Haley and their dog Bear.
