Leading Gitter Vein Institute with extensive experience and a commitment to exceptional patient care, Richard Gitter, MD, is a highly experienced cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon dedicated to the treatment of vascular conditions.
A New Orleans native, Dr. Gitter grew up in Old Metairie. He graduated from Isidore Newman School in 1981 before earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Tulane University in 1985.
